Global Innovation Technology (GIT) is known by its customer as the Single Sign-On Vendor in Indonesia. GIT starts the implementation of Enterprise Single Sign-On back in 2008, and Web Single Sign-On in 2009. At the beginning, GIT was deeply focused in delivering security and simplicity for Telecommunication industries in Indonesia and Philippines.
In 2012, GIT was chosen by NTT Data Japan to implement Single Sign-On for Indonesia’s National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI), with integration to ESRI ArcGIS. The Single Sign-On (SSO) projects was to establish secure integration with 10 government agency, in order for them to be able to exchange GIS data securely and seamlessly. The technology was using Multi Domain Web Single Sign-On, so that the map contributors and map consumers just need to login once, to access the entire map from the entire government agency seamlessly.
Starting from 2014, GIT continuously implements Web SSO in major bank in Indonesia. Since bank tends to have many applications from several vendors, it’s hard to integrate the entire application into a single UserID and password, even more difficult to propagate the authentication session between applications to enable the customer to login once for all applications. That’s how SSO became a key component for Bank’s electronic services, thus a customer just simply login once to any application, and he/she can access the other application seamlessly without requiring to re-enter the authentication credentials.
